Should I Be Concerned For The Dent On The Back Of The Head Which Is Since One Year?
Hi I got into an altercation and this kid hit me in the back of my head with a gun about a year ago it didn t break the skin so I wasn t bleeding but I have a dent on the back left side of my head its about as big enough to cover it with two finger tips and I m kind of scared
I went through your description. I suggest you not to worry much. When we get hit in the head, it swells first. That is a defense measure of the body. The skin around the skin is very tight. Therefore, body keeps a lot of blood vessels around there to safeguard the skull and thereby brain. On hitting the blood vessels punctures and swells and thereby the swelling. Slowly within two days it dies down.
In your case, as the hit was powerful, you should consult a bone specialist to confirm about any unwanted eventuality. He should advice you further.
You might need psychological counseling., I am more than happy to provide telephone psychological counseling through healthcaremagic. Contact me through customer care, www.healthcaremagic.com.
Hope this answers your query. Available for further clarifications. Good luck.
