Should I Be Concerned For The Dent On The Back Of The Head Which Is Since One Year?

Hi I got into an altercation and this kid hit me in the back of my head with a gun about a year ago it didn t break the skin so I wasn t bleeding but I have a dent on the back left side of my head its about as big enough to cover it with two finger tips and I m kind of scared

Therefore, body keeps a lot of blood vessels around there to safeguard the skull and thereby brain. On hitting the blood vessels punctures and swells and thereby the swelling. Slowly within two days it dies down.
