Should I Be Concerned For The Raised Ridge Running Down To The Center Of The Skull?

I have a raised ridge running down the center of my skull with depressions on both sides. It doesn't hurt or itch, but seems sensitive if I fool with it too much. I had a bad fall this past summer and hit the top of my head on a brick fireplace. I had a CT scan that was clear. The ridge only appeared a month or so ago, months after my fall. Should I be concerned?

Hello Suzi!
Welcome on Healthcaremagic!

I understand your concern and would explain that your symptoms could be related to skull bone re-modulation. It is quite normal after a head trauma.
As you are feeling OK and your previous performed brain CT scan resulted normal, there is nothing to worry about.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!
Best wishes,
Dr. Aida
