Should I Be Worried About A Bumpy Spot On My Head That Is Tender?
Hi, January 2013 I fell off a snowmobile and hit my head pretty hard on the ground and my head had swelled up pretty badly. Now, over a year later, the spot that I hit my head still has a bump and tingle every time I touch it. Also, if I ever accidentally hit it, even lightly, it hurts pretty bad. Is there something I should be worried about?
Trauma anywhere in the body leads to damage and exposure of the nerve endings which sometimes causes prolonged parasthetias ( tingling sensation), there is no specific treatment for it expect botox injections over the tender area. There is nothing to be worried about If the pain becomes unbearable I advice you to approach a neurologist for Tab Amitryptylline 10 mg at the night, it helps bring down the pain
I hope I was of help
Regards
