Should I Be Worried About A Tickly Cough In 6 Months Old?

Hi, my 6 month old baby has had a dry tickly cough for the last couple of weeks and it does not seem to be getting better. I have been giving him cough medicine (suitable for babies) but that does not seem to work. It is more apparent in th early morning and wakes him up. Is there anything to worry about? And what else can I do?

Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

Presence of long standing cough, in the absence of other clinical evidence of pneumonia or asthma, one should consider the possibility of Hperactive airway disease possibly due to Laryngo-oesophageal reflux.
I would suggest you to discuss this probability with your Pediatrician.

Take Care

Best Regards
