Should I Be Worried About Bleeding While Blew My Nose?

I have a cold which has lasted a few days now but this morning when I blew my nose it was all bright red like I was bleeding quite badly from inside my nostril (only my left nostril does it though, my right one doesn't seem to have any blood in it) is this normal?

hello and welcome to health care magic,

A little amount of bleeding from the nose is common in any common cold and a routine treatment with an antihistamine like levocetrizine will take care of the problem.
Do not sneeze or blow hard and do not pick on the nose
If the bleeding persists then you must take a CT PNS along with blood coagulation tests and get back to me or any ENT with the reports

regards
