Should I Be Worried About My Urine Report With 10-15/hpf Pus Cells?
my urine report shows 10-15/hpf pus cells-do i need to be concerned or is it going to take care of itself-i hv no pain or any kind of problem that i m aware of-shld i get a urine culture done and take a course of antibiotics-also i wld like to point out another problem,my teeth hv suddenly been discoloured and stained ,my upper incisors are white but the lower ones r stained-i m very worried coz i ve always had very white set of teeth and now its different-pl help!!
The urine test of 10-15/hpf means that you are having an infection despite that you are not experiencing symptoms. You may need to do an uroculture to check for bacteria which is causing it and which antibiotic works best. The discolouration of the teeth may not be much related to UTI. It can be related to any drugs such gentamicin or tetracycline or benadryl. Other causes may be tobacco and coffee.
