Should I Be Worried About Sleepiness After Taking Zocor?
Hi, I have a question regarding taking zocor as my brother is currently taking it for his blood pressure and says that it seems to make him sleepy but I don t see that as being a side effect to worry about for this type of medication what should he do?

Zocor (Simvastatin) is routinely prescribed to reduce the high blood cholesterol levels and it is not used as a BP lowering medication.
The most common side effects include muscle pain or weakness, stomach upset, liver inflammation. It does not cause sleepiness as its side effect.
