JUST HAD A MRI AND ONE OF THE THINGS THEY STATED IN THE REPORT WAS A MUCOUS RETENTION CYST OR POLYP AT THE SUPERIOR ASPECT OF THE LEFT MAXILLARY SINUS. THERE MAY BE TRACE SCATTERED MUCOSAL THICKENING AS WELL. THE MASTOID CELLS APPEAR PREDOMINANTLY CLEAR. IS THIS ANYTHING TO BE WORRIED ABOUT
According to the reports you have polyp or retention cyst in left maxillary sinus. There is also scattered mucosal thickening, these are the changes of sinusitis. Proper treatment will be avulsion of polyp or conservative method depending upon symptoms and level of obstruction. The mastoid cells are clear. Hope i have answered your query.
