Should I Be Worried For Having Thyroid Nodules?

I had a car accident and they found throid nodules....doctor told me to go and have it checked...I don t even know I have these nodules. Is it okay if I do not go for check up? I am scared of what I will find...better the unknown. What do you think?

You should go for checkup.You need proper clinical examination and investigations.
You need thyroid profile test and Ultrasound of thyroid glands.
Further investigations like radionuclide study,FNAC can be done if needed.
Proper treatment depends upon clinical findings and investigation reports.
