Should I Continue With Esomeprazole And Flagyl For Gastritis Which May Be The Cause Of Vomiting And Nausea?
Hi Doc., Visited a doctor who after investigations found I had gastritis. I had most of symptoms such as loss of weight, feeling discomfort in the upper abdomen, bloating, feeling full after eating a small amount of food, lack of appetite and nausea/vomiting. I was given given Amoxil, Flagyl and I think esomeprazole. I took this combination for about 2 weeks and felt better BUT after three months I have the same serious symptoms. What do I do?

Hi welcome to HCM. I went through your query and would like to share my opinion.
Well you can start with esomeprazole and see if that helps .Complete one month course and watch for improvement. If you feel no significant improvement then get an H Pylori test done off all medications for two weeks.
The result of test would help us decide the way to go.
