Should I Get An HCG Test Done To Check Blocked Tubes?
Hello doctor,
I am 30 year old. I had an an ectopic last year in march which was treated with methotrexate. I gave myself a break and in september tried again. I was diagnosed with elevated tsh (5.36) in oct. Ever since i have been on thyronorm and now my tsh level is within 2.5. I have gone through the follicular study and that is fine. I am wondering if my tubes are blocked? Should i get a hsg test done? Could it cause infection?

hi, dr.boskey gandhi is here, ectopic pregnancy treated with methotrexate is not always blocked fallopian tube. so don't worry. I think u should go for natural trial for atleast 6 months,if all other u& your husband' s reports are normal. if u fail by natural way, then we think about hsg. from your history, I think u will get success by natural way, so be relax & all the best! !!!
