Should I Get Immediate Treatment For Ankylosing Spondylitis?
I have been on Humira for 12mths because of severe ankylosing spondylitis 44yrs duration. My inflammatory markers have increased and my Hba1c is also up. I was only told by the rheumatology nurse in general terms when she phoned me yesterday. I checked my urine today for blood sugar, but dip stick showed no sugar but showed leucocytes and blood. I have only one symptom of two/three months duration, extreme tiredness. I don t know whether the urine dip stick test is enough to bother my GP with, he isn t supportive. 42 yrs undiagnosed AS. 20yrs on morphine and fentanyl. I was diagnosed wrongly with chronic fatigue and treated with disbelief until I got diagnosed by seeing a rheumatologist privately. Is it something I should see my Dr about or leave it until my routine rheumatological appt in 3 months time
