Should I Go For A Walk If I Have Stiff Neck, Heaviness In Arms And Tingling In Fingers?

I started with a stiff neck on left side yesterday. By this morning my left arm felt heavy and tingling in my hand/fingers. The tingling has stopped but my arm/hand is still heavy and I have lost a strong grip. Should I go to the walk in tomorrow morning or just wait it out?

Hi there .

Your symptoms correlate to disease known as cervical spondylitis and radiculopathy.
This means that your neck bones are degenerating and there is pressure on the nerve roots of neck region.

I would suggest you to definitely postpone the walk for a couple of days till the symptoms subside.
Good thing about this disease is that symptoms do regress.

Treatment:
Anti inflammatory like nucoxia mr
Neurotropic like pregablin
Short wave diathermy and diclofenac gel massage.
When the pain subsides do start cervical isometric exercises. ...go to a physiotherapy clinic for that.

I hope my advice has helped.
Good luck
