Should I Go To ER For A Toe Injury Causing Pain In My Foot?

Hello I have a question of course. This evening I was walking into the kitchen and kicked the wall with my little toe. The skin is ripped off the inside and now the bottem of my foot hurts when I walk. Is that normal or should I head to the hospital in the morning?

Hello,

As post having a direct hit to the wall and skin tearing there will be a pain in and around the toe. You should allow the toe to rest and do a dressing with the betadine/iodine solution.

Also, use ice packs but make it dry application so no infection occurs. It will heal soon and doesn't make more trouble later.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
