Urologist 's  Response
Hello
Thanks for your query, based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have been diagnosed t have stone of a size of 7.3 mm in your left ureter .
The size of the stone is not the only criteria to decide whether you need to undergo surgery for removal of stone but it depends upon the following factors.
1) Site of the impaction of stone
2) Degree of hydronephrosis back pressure changes in the kidney and ureter due to obstruction to the flow of urine from kidney to ureter.
3) Severity and frequency of pain and other symptoms like vomiting ,fever etc.

If the pain is tolerable you can certainly wait and watch for couple of days and expect it to pass down of its own.

Consult qualified Urologist for help.
