Should I Keep The Stitches Covered After Surgery Or Take Them Off ?

Hello, I just had something removed and have a few stitches in my leg. I have already changed the original bandage and have been taking care of the wound. Should I continue keeping the stitches covered or can I keep the bandages off so it can breathe? Thank you.

Hi
Thanks for your query
The stitched wound should be covered with sterile dressing and antibiotic cream or lotion especially those on the legs. Take care and I shall be glad to answer any further query.
