Should I Seek Medication Attention For Bilateral Extra Renal Pelvis?

A CT scan has shown that i have bilateral extrarenal pelves. I went to the doctor because i was experiencing lower back pain. they ruled out any infection, but told me about the extrarenal pelves. I have read that sometimes they can mimic cysts on a scan. should i seek further medical attention?

Hello,

As you been diagnosed with bilateral extrarenal pelvis than I will advise you to undergo further tests. As in initial stages, it starts with infection and then later prolonged to the multiplication of the cells and can land up to another diagnosis related to hydronephrosis and cancerous. Doing further tests are advised to rule out that it's not cancerous. Hope will take this in a positive way and will work out for it.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
