Should I Take Insulin Along With Oral Medicines To Reduce Sugar Levels?
Dear Sir,
my blood sugar level fasting was 135 and post lunch was 284, i am 31 yrs old and my doctor have precribed me the oral tabelt janumet 50/1000 mg and asked me to take 15 units of insuling in the night, i have not started insulin, but have started other oral medince, request you to kinldy pls advise.

Sir, You din't mention since when you are diabetic. If iam your treating doctor and If you were diabetic and on medication more than 3 months, And if the values are as high as you mentioned here in more than 2-3 times, You need to check for HbA1c which shows blood sugar value for the past 3 months. If that is higher (>7%). Then you need a triple-drug combination, if that also doesn't work then add insulin. You can discuss this with your treating doctor and take his help also.
