Should I Trust On The HIV Test Result Obtained From Elisa Method?

hello doc my name is harsh. i hav done protected sex with prostitute. my que is hor hiv. i took hiv test after 3.5 month from my last exposure by elisa method and which came out non reactive. should i trust on this test result? or go for another test after 6 month?

Hi,
You may trust ELISA result after 3.5 months. If you want to be doubly sure you can get another test after 6 months. If it is non reactive then most likely you are not infected.
