Should I Undergo Rotator Cuff Surgery For Internal Itching Sensation With Pain?

Hello, I am having internal itching sensations where I have pain also. I may need rotator cuff surgery from bone on bone and my shoulder blade hurts alot. Sometimes I feel like i have internal itching going on which is better than the pain in the shoulder blade area, left side. Does this mean healing or a more series problem?
Thank you

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hello,
Thanks for your query.
Persistent pain suggest severe rotator cuff tear. I suggest you to go for MRI to see the severity of tear. If the tear is sever, go for rotator cuff surgery to fix the problem.
I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.
Take care
