Should I Use Stalopam Plus 10mg For Swelling Ony Head?

since last one week, I had swelling on my head and I went saw a neurologist today and he did CT scan and told to have Stalopam Plus 10 MG every day for next 30 days. But in internet the reviews says that it was given to depression patients. I was not a depression patient... I hit the bed when I slept that s why swelling. Shall I use this medicine or not?

Hello,

Stalopam plus 10mg (Escitalopram10 mg+Clonazepam 0.5 mg)is given for depression and/ or Generalized anxiety disorder(GAD).

Your CT scan brain is probably normal and hence anti-anxiety drug was described. At best you can take a second opinion of another Neurologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
