Should Letov Be Taken On The Second Day Of The Periods?

I dont get my periods regularly.but last month without any meditation i got my periods on time asusual for seven days.vog doctor asked me to take serophene table 3 daily.and now he has given me a tablet called letov 2.5mg.so my question is am i to take the tablet this month on my second day of my periods?
