Should Meclizine Be Taken Only After Having Dizziness Preceded With Sweating Episodes?

I take Meclizine 12.5 mg after I have dizziness , and /or nausea preceded with sweating episodes. I do not take Meclizine unless I have an episode. I cannot predict the frequency of episodes . Should I be taking this medication daily even when there are no episodes happening? Thanks, Ann

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi Ann,

Thanks for your query.

Since the episodes are unpredictable, it would be effective if you take Meclizine regularly, thrice a day so as to prevent the episodes from occurring.

If you find my response helpful and informative, do not forget an “excellent” (5-star rating) to my answer, to ENCOURAGE ALL doctors- engaged in social service- to render sound advice to the FREE queries.

Take care
