Hi
Thanks for posting your query at HealthCareMagic
I understand your query . Pentaxim is not banned in India , it has been used for many years in India , has protected so many babies in India as well as abroad . It is safe to continue with Pentaxim , it will not cause any side effects to baby. The controversy( created by media and some doctors ) is regarding long term protection with acellular versus whole cell vaccines ) . If you take all primary and booster of DPT at time , there should be no reason to worry . It is not banned in India , it is as safe to use as other vaccines.

Hope I answered your query,
Fell free to revert if there is any other query.
Thanks
