Should Rigevidon Be Continued In View Of The Continuous Bleeding?

Hi, I was taking microgynon for three months without any breaks, I was then given rigevidon after over a week over taking rigevidon without bleeding, I have now had continous bleeding for over 2 weeks, unsure whether to stop taking the pill or to continue and the bleeding will stop?

Hi,

As of now, you can take drugs like Tranexamic Acid to control bleeding.

Generally, the bleeding will settle by itself.

If symptoms persist better to consult a gynecologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
