Should Soventus Be Given To Child For Chest Congestion If Phlegm Is Vomited?

Good Morning Doctor, My daughter (3 months old) is prescribed Soventus Jr for severe Chest congestion. She vomitted Phelgm immediately after taking medicine, we could see the medicine in the Phelgm. Should we give her the medicine again, since the ealier given came out with the vomit.

usually it is said if children vomit medicines within 15 minutes of injestion one can give a repeat dose. but wait for the child to settle down, give her warm water with little sugar, pacify her. after some time give the second dose
