Should A Doctor Be Consulted For Edema In The Ankles?
I m having minor edema of the ankles. I had a recent fall, resulting in minor leg injury. I just started taking Saphris a few weeks ago, for insomnia. I am also taking Welbutrin, gabapentin, cymbalta, for depression, and Omeprazole for acid reflux. I take 10 milligrams of lisinopril for blood pressure which is under control. Should I be seeing a doctor for this?
Yes, you should see the doctor. Many a times, this is benign and not worrisome. But we should rule out cardiac cause and other causes like low hemoglobin, protein and renal dysfunction. So should visit the doctor once.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
