Should A Doctor Be Consulted For Persistent Nausea?

.hi I’ve been feeling nauseous lately for about two week and I can’t figure out why and other than some diarrhea last week there haven’t been many other symptoms other than a feeling that something isn’t right. I’ve taken a pregnancy test recently that was negative but other than that my symptoms aren’t to bad. Should I go to my doctor now or should I wait until I have more symptoms

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Persis nausea may be due to anemia or gastritis or drugs side effects or appendicitis or cholicystitis or UTI or vestibular apparatus problems etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Take tablet. Ondansetron twice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
