Should A Doctor Be Consulted For Tingling Sensation In The Legs?

I am 86 year old, have moderate arthritis in both feet. For the last few months I have had tingling in both legs from my ankles to mid-thighs. There is no pain but I feel uneasy and most of the time the tingling causes me to tremble. Is it something that I should see my Dr. about ?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I think you are taking medications for your arthritis. For the tingling sensation part, you can take Tab. Methylcobalamine 1500 microgram one tablet once daily after food for 2 weeks. If you did not get any improvement, you can consult General physician/Neurologist. For other emergency problems, please consult doctor immediately.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
