I m 47 had tubal 17 years ago. My period is 12 days late. I ve never missed unless I was pregnant. I have slight cramps last a minute. Had slight cramping after intercourse. Never experienced that. My uterine area feels heavy. I ve been experiencing liquid white discharge. Should I take a pregnancy test? Seems crazy, to me to do so

Hello,

If you are sexually active, then, can take a pregnancy test, just to assure you are not pregnant (and I too do think you are not pregnant).

To me, all your symptoms are related to possible genital infection (uterine or vaginal). So, you need to check this out through vaginal swab testing, and transvaginal ultrasound.

Discuss this further with your gynecologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
