Should High And Persistent Fever Be Treated In The Hospital?
my 4 year old son is running a temperature of 104.4 but when i spoke with the nurse in his peditracians office less then an hour and forty-five minutes ago his temp was103.8 and she advised me to give tylenol....his temp is still climbing should i be taking him to the hospital??
It is probably viral illness. Usually, fever can go upto 104 f. If your child is having other symptoms like delirium, confusion or seizures, then immediately take him, otherwise you can wait for 2 days.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
