Should I Be Concerned About The Maxtra Drops Instead Of Syrup?

Hi, my baby is 9 months old. She was having cold and fever and the doctor advised Crocin 5 ml and maxtra syrup 3.5 ml. By mistake I got maxtra drops and gave dosage of 3.5 ml bd to my daughter. Is this safe? Do I need to get her tested. Should I get maxtra syrup and continue the medication?

Hi,
The concentration of drugs in Maxtra drops and Syrup is different. If only one or two doses are given wrongly then it will do no harm. I would suggest you to immediately get Syrup instead of drops.
Wishing your child good health.
