Should I Be Concerned About The Injury To The Soft Spot Of A Baby?

My son was carrying my baby and when he tried to grab his pacifier that fell on the ground, he bent down and my baby s head hit the table. I noticed his soft spot more sunken in. I made an appointment with his pediatrician, but they have me down until Monday, the soonest. Should I be more concerned and try and take him in before?

Thanks for the query.
Anterior fontenela (soft spot mentioned by you) is an area of skull where bones are not covering the head and these are soft tissues (skin,fat/muscles) what we feel while palpating
It seems your baby has a small hematoma on top of the usual softness of the fontenela.
An injury like this seems to be of not much significance unless the baby has significant symptoms (vomiting/excessive crying/lethargy/refusal to take feeds).
If none of the above mentioned symptoms are present ,it is not worrisome at all.
