Should I Be Concerned As Blood Came From The Tube Site While Changing The Gauze After Surgery?

My husband just had hernia surgery and we just got home from the hospital. He has a drain and I just changed the gauze. As I was doing it, blood ran from the tube site and down on the bed. Not an extreme amount, but enough to concern me. Should I be concerned?

Hi,
The leak is just bloody peritoneal fluid / wash from the drain site. Its nothing to worry about unless its thicj frank blood. Watery blood is nothing to be concerned about. It can leak with change in position.
