Should I Be Concerned As I Am Having Pain And Saw A Vein Which Was Sticking Out And Hard Under Armpit?

Last week Saturday I went to Urgent Care with an abscess under my armpit. The doctor cut it open and put packing in it. I have since been back 3 times to get the wound repacked. Yesterday the doctor (a different one) said everything was good and I didn't need to come back. This morning I noticed a slight pain and saw that my vein was sticking out and very hard under my armpit. The second time I went to get the abscess checked the doctor found and removed a blood clot. I'm just wondering if there is any cause for concern or if this is normal. Thank you!
