Should I Be Concerned As I Am Having Stabbing Pain Under My Left Ribs?

i had a fundoplycation almost 10 years ago but now am having severe stabbing pains under my left ribs and over into center of my stomach where the ribs meet in the middle. I take PPI s but they dont do anything to help. Is this something I should be concerned about like my pancreas or something?

Hello,

Stabbing pain under the rib can be due to a muscle spasm, an injury in the local area or inflammation like costochondritis. Taking mild pain killers, hot compress and application of local analgesic gels will help.
