Should I Be Concerned Over Rug Burn Behind Right Ear Of My 22 Month Old Baby ?

22 month old and I fell. When I landed I landed on her head. Her head was between my butt and the bowling alley floor. She now has what looks like a rug burn behind her right ear. She has been running around and playing like normal. She is currently sleeping and the accident happened about 5 hours ago. What do I need to keep an eye on through out the night? Should I just take her in to the ER now?

As you mentioned that she is behaving normally and playing around you need not to worry much. I will just suggest you to touch or press lightly the injured areas and see if it is very painful for her that will give an idea about deep injury or bony lesion. Also check whether she can hear normally from the injured side of ear.
If you notice anything then you need to consult your doctor othetwise it is a minor injury only.
