Should I Be Worried About A Black Stool?

My 15 month old had black stool this morning and this evening. He has not had blueberries, which usually is the source. He is playing and active as normal, no fever. He has always been very regular with a morning and evening bowel movement. Should he go to the Dr?

Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
The cosumption of blue berrys may impart color to the stool.
Taking Iron drops or syrup for treatment of anemia may impart black color to the stools.
Slow GI bleeding may give rise to black tarry stool.
