Should I Be Worried About A Lump On The Forehead After A Fall?

My 3 year old grandson just fell and hit his forehead on a concrete floor. A huge purple colored know immediately appeared on his head. I put ice on it, he did not lose consciousness or throw up, cried for several minutes. Should I be concerned/take him to his doctor?

Hi....you did right. I appreciate the way you are helping me by telling that he didn't throw up or lose consciousness. Its just s hematoma or blood clot which will get absorbed by itself in few days...do not worry. Happy to help anytime.
