Should I Be Worried About Distension Of Abdomen?

My almost 2 year old has EBV, with the symptoms being enlarged liver and spleen. This was diagnosed about 2 weeks ago. Since then his belly was going down in size, now it is swollen again and he is not eating much and seems to be in discomfort and not sleeping well. Should i go back to ED?

Hi....it is quite common for the kids with EBV to have abdominal distension due to enlarged liver and spleen. But if the distension is gradually increasing, I suggest you get back to the physician.
