Should I Be Worried About Upper Abdominal/chest Pain Accompanied By Vomiting?
My son is experiencing pain is his upper abdomen/chest accompanied by nausea/vomiting. Symptoms were rather sudden onset...he was fine earlier in the evening, but is now in pain and vomiting...does not want to go to ER--is this something that can maybe wait til morning hen he can get in with our family Dr.? Pls. help.

i will suggest you take him to the hospital irrespective of what he says
the abdominal symptom could be anything
there is a very broad differential diagnosis
and children are delicate. the reserves are low
so please take him to the hospital
