Should I Be Worried After Finding Protein In Blood Test?

Hi I am at 29 year old female with no medical issues. I had a physical done where it showed blood in the urine. I went back for another test and the blood is gone but now there is protein. I have to wait to go back now for another test. Do you think this is a serious issue??

Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

It is important to know amount of protein in urine.Mild protein is normal finding in urine.
Excess amount may be related to kidney problem, urinary tract infection etc.
You need proper clinical examination and investigations.
You need investigations like routine hemogram,Random blood sugar,Renal function test,Urine RE/ME,Urine culture and sensitivity and Ultrasound of abdomen. Further investigations can be done if needed.
Proper treatment depend upon findings.
