Should I Be Worried Of Sore Neck And Head After Hitting Head?

Hi. I banged my head on the back left last night. I have had a sore head all morning and have just noticed a lump on my right back neck that was not there before. It is also very sore. I have a doctors appointment booked for 3pm (uk) but I am not sure if I should be more concerned than I am. Please advise.

Hello,
Head injuries can be serious but also it may just be a bruise. If you have any severe pain, dizziness or mood changes you should go to Accident and Emergency.
