Should I Give Asthalin Syrup For Treating Cold And Wheezing Problem?

hi

I've one and a half years old son, he suffers from cold and wheezing problem last one day. Today I consult with Pediatrician who advised me to give Asthalin syrup. I'm afraid to give this syrup that the Asthma problem will be permanent if he takes. Please advise me.

Thanks for advance,

Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic. First I want to alley your fears regarding your kid -
1. 1.5 years is not an age to diagnose asthma. It could be either multi triggered wheeze or episodic viral wheeze.
2. If it is first time, no harm in using asthalin as it gives good relief.
3. Asthalin or any of the medications used for wheezing in any route either oral or inhalational do not cause dependency or make the patient prone for asthma. Actually its the other way round.
Hope my answer was helpful for you. I am happy to help any time. Further clarifications and consultations on Health care magic are welcome. If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer. Wish your kid good health.
