Should I Let My Child Sleep After Hitting Of Her Head?

my 12 yr old raised my 8 week old up in the air somewhat quickly and hit her head on the heavy glass shade to the light on the cieling fan. she cried a cry i havent yet heard from her.she has a lump on her head and a red spot butseems ok. but she wants to sleep. should i let her?
