Should I Massage The Swollen Salivary Gland To Drain The Discharge?

Hi, my left salivary gland has swollen as well as my left lymph node, and when I eat it hurts. I think it is a salivary stone. My question is, is it good if I get as much of the white discharge out or should I try not to massage/pressurize the salivary gland?

Hi,
It seems that you might be having mumps or parotitis.
Do not massage or press to remove discharge as it will aggravate the condition and there will be more swelling.
You require one antibiotic and antiviral medicine course.
Consult your doctor and get examined.
Ok and take care.
