Should I Meet A Doctor For Diarrhea, Urge To Vomit, Weakness And Chills?

I had severe diarrhea and feeling like I needed to vomit most of today. After a nap, the nausea went away, but I feel weak, have chills and hot flashes. I had my first meal of chicken and rice at 4pm. Should I go to emergency? Still feeling weak, slight chills.

Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Most likely you are facing gastrointestinal infection. Most of such cases do not need medical attention and heals in 48 hours. So if this has appeared recently, there is no blood in stool, no high fever, you mat wait. Try to avoid any solid foods for next 12 hours. Stay well hydrated (warm tea, Gatorade). Try to rest.
If it wont help and symptoms will be present for longer than 48 hours, you should than visit a doctor.

Hope this will help.
Regards.
