General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to the injury. I recommend to use an anti-inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen to relieve the pain. I also suggest using cold compresses for local application. I recommend to maintain the ankle immobilized. If the symptoms continue, I suggest to see an orthopedist for further evaluation.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
