Should I Stop Taking Medication For Anxiety After Experiencing Heartburn And Insomnia?

I started taking Lexapro 10mg this past Tuesday night. The doctor prescribed them to me for anxiety/panic attacks. I hate the side effects (no appetite (i ve lost 4 pounds and don t need to lose four pounds!), heartburn, but worst of all insomia. Therefore, I want to discontinue taking it. I only took 5 mg this morning-can I stop all together tomorrow?

Hello,
As per your history you have both heartburn and insomnia.
This insomnia mainly due to lexapro 10 intake,
I suggest you that you take another group of anti anxiety medicine like fluoxetine (Prozac) may helpful for you, Because it’s side effects very less.
For heartburn you take antacid and proton pump inhibitors.
