Should I Take Prednisone 50 Mg For 4 Day Period?

Hi, my prescribed me 50 mg of prednisone for a 4 day period when normally I get 10 mg for over 10 day period, my question is should I take them or talk to my doctor first I called the pharmacy to make sure they gave us the right meds they assured everything was correct I always got the smaller tab these are larger than usual is it a such thing is what I m really trying to ask......bunch of bull...t how bout that rip off

I think if you are not sure of the dosage of prednisone you should consult your doctor again as 50 mg is a large dose to be taken without confirming it.
